For over 25 years, I have worked as a television producer/editor/announcer in Trinidad and Tobago. I was trained by a television producer from CBC Television in Canada. One of the highlights of my career was being hired by the Ministry of Education as a television production consultant from 2006 to 2008 where I produced programmes for nationwide broadcast that featured their new curriculum. Being a wordsmith is super important in my field as my broadcast audience numbered into the hundreds of thousands of people. I currently live in the countryside near the beach in a town called Mayaro.

I taught English online at Native Camp from September 2020 - January 2022. Most of the students came from Japan and Taiwan. It was mostly an enjoyable experience, and I was able to hone my craft as a teacher during my time there. I have been teaching online at Lingoda since June 2021 until the present. There have been many moments there that I would term 'lightbulb' moments, because I saw and heard when the student got it, when they fully understood a particular grammatical point that they've been grappling with. As a teacher, I try to be creative and patient, so I use various methods to get the students comfortable with the grammatical points, the words, and expressions being considered such as role-play, group discussions, and so on.
